A message from the Board Chairperson

Dear Partners, Members, and Friends,

It is with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to the official website of Uganda Change Agent Association (UCAA). Our mission is to promote the participation of marginalized communities in the decision-making, promotion and protection of their rights for sustainable development. As the Chairperson, I have watched this organization grow from a shared vision into a powerful force for change through self-reliant participatory development initiatives countrywide.

Our world is facing complex, evolving challenges, from economic uncertainty to climate change. Now more than ever, the role of civil society is vital. We are committed to navigating these uncertainties with agility, transparency, and innovation to ensure we leave no one behind. As we strive to empower communities for self-reliance, I am proud of the progress we have made together. Our work is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Through our programs, we have seen remarkable transformations - women starting business and participating in decision making processes, youth accessing education and communities managing their own resources. I appreciate your support and partnership in this journey, and looking forward to continuing our collective efforts towards sustainable development and empowerment for all.

Our focus remains on strengthening our advocacy, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring our operations are efficient and impactful. We do not work in isolation; it is the unwavering dedication of our team and the trust of our partners that fuel our mission.

I invite you to explore our work and join us in this transformative journey. Together, we can build a more just, inclusive, and empowered society.

With warm regards and Thanks,

 Tworekirwe Miriam
